The short version: Recó is licensed, not sold. You are responsible for recording lawfully and for verifying AI output. Premium is an auto-renewable subscription billed by Apple. The app is provided "as is."
BlueGlass grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Recó on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard EULA and these terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.
Recó offers an optional auto-renewable Premium subscription that unlocks cloud-powered deep analysis. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID Account Settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your recordings, including consent and wiretapping laws. Many jurisdictions require the consent of some or all parties before a conversation may be recorded. Only record where you have the legal right to do so. You agree not to use Recó for any unlawful purpose.
Recó uses Apple frameworks (Speech Recognition and Apple Intelligence). With Premium and your consent, Recó also uses third-party AI providers — OpenAI for transcription and Anthropic for analysis — and our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, to process recordings you choose to analyze in the cloud. Your use of these services is subject to Apple's and those providers' terms. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
Recó uses AI to transcribe and analyze conversations. AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it, especially for decisions with legal, financial, medical, or other significant consequences. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlueGlass is not liable for harm arising from AI-generated content.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUEGLASS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
We may update these terms; changes are posted here with an updated date. We may restrict or terminate access for violations of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
